An advance payment of 50% per person from the total tour cost is required at the time of
registration in order to confirm this booking.
Balance payment is required 30 days prior to departure date.
The tour schedule cannot to customized or changed / If you miss to join any sight seen
while on tour it cannot be replaced with any other tours and the cost is
non-refundable.
Once the booking is confirmed, the tour cost is non-refundable.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

In the event you cancel the tour on voluntary basis, the following amounts will be
applicable:
120- 90 Days prior to departure - No charge
90- 60 Days prior to departure - LKR 100,000
60- 45 Days prior to departure - LKR 120,000

45– 30 Days prior to departure - LKR 179,000

Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Baku (D)

Transfer to hotel.
Meet with guide for H. Aliyev center.
After dinner bus tour (night tour)
Overnight in Baku.

Day 2

Baku, Absheron (B/L/D)

After B’fast enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the Upland Park; observe the famous
Flame towers and the Bakay.
A walking tour in the Old City (UNESCO heritage): Maiden Tower (XII c.), Shirvanshahs Palace
(XV c.), medieval Caravanserai, numerous mosques, hamams (bathhouse), a market square,
carpet shops, art studios and souvenir stalls.

After lunch trip to the Absheron Peninsula: admire the flaming mountain – Yanardag, where
natural gas comes to the surface and is burning since ancient times, attracting fire worshippers
during many centuries.
Explore the Fire Worshippers Temple – Ateshgah, built by the Hindu pilgrims in XVIII c
. Until the late XIX century, it was the fire-cult pilgrimage place.
After dinner back to Baku.
Overnight in Baku hotel.

Day 3

Baku – Guba-Khinalig – Baku (B/L/D)

After B’fast depart to Guba, the Northern part of Azerbaijan. (169 km from Baku)
Arrival in Guba, this region is famous for its hand-made carpets. Visit the local carpet-weaving
workshop.
After lunch drive to Khinalig village (54 km from Guba) that is located at 2200 m over the sea
level. Enjoy the view from the Passover of the Greater Caucasus. Explore the village, the
customs and life style of local people, who live here over 2000 years.
Arrival in Baku.
Dinner and overnight in Baku hotel.

Day 4

Baku – Shamakhi – Gabala – Gandja (B/L/D)

After B’fast depart to the Gandja city via Gabala region.
In Shamakhi visit the ancient Juma Mosque, one of the first mosques in the Caucasus.
On the way to Gabala stop at the beautiful Nohur lake.
Lunch break
Continue to Gandja (162 km).
On the way, visit the Mausoleum of Nizami Ganjavi, the Great Azerbaijani poet of the 12th
century.
Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

Day 5

Gandja – Goygol – Baku (B/L/D)

After b’fast checkout from hotel.
Start the city sightseeing tour: the main Square of the city, the mosque of Shah Abbas (XVII c.),
Chokek hamam (bathhouse) and Javad khan’s mausoleum.
Visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (XIX c.) and the famous Bottle house.

After lunch drive to the National Park of Goy Gol (50 km), founded in 1925, enjoy the view to the
Blue lake. Due to an earthquake in 1139, parts of the Kapaz Mount collapsed and blocked the
path of the Kurekchay River. As a result, the lake with pure mountain water was created.
Depart to Baku (397 km).
Dinner and overnight in Baku.

Day 6

Gobustan, Baku (B/L/D)

Breakfast in hotel.
Trip to mud volcanoes (70 km from Baku), the unique natural phenomenon of the country.
Almost half of the mud volcanoes on our planet are located in Azerbaijan.
Continue to the Gobustan Reserve, an open-air archeological museum (UNESCO heritage),
known for its archaeological monuments: in this area there are more than 4000 petroglyphs,
rock paintings from the Neolithic era that show ancient population travelling in cane boats, men
hunting antelopes and wild bulls, ritual dances etc.

back to Baku. NOTE: Flag square is under reconstruction, we can not visit it, only observe
outside.
Have a walk at the Seaside Boulevard, Ferris Wheel “Baku Eye”.
Visiting of the National Carpet Museum and “Little Venice Park”.
Dinner and overnight in Baku.

Day 7

Baku – Lenkeran – Baku (B/L/D)

B’fast in hotel.
Drive to the Southern part of Azerbaijan (~250 km).
Visit the “Citrus valley”, private citrus plantations.

Arrival in Lenkeran. Visit the Museum of History - a former Khan Palace of Mir Akhmed Talysh
Khan (late XIX c.)
Depart from Lenkeran to Baku.
Arrival in Baku.
Dinner and overnight in Baku.

Day 8

Departure (B)

Checkout. Transfer to airport.
